How can we help?
Answers to the everyday questions, and a real person at the other end of the email when you need one.
Contact support
[email protected]Tell us what happened and what you expected. It helps to know your app version and device: in the app, Settings → Support → Contact support starts an email with these filled in for you.
Attach a storyboard only if you choose to share it. Please don’t send confidential client work, or personal details we don’t need to sort out the problem.
Help in the app
Open Settings → Help for a quick guide to importing boards, checking frames, flipping and clearing Recent projects. It works without an internet connection.
Common questions
What can I import?
From Files: storyboard PDFs, page images (such as JPEG or PNG) and Photoshop files. From Photo Library: the photos you pick. With Camera: photograph frames or drawings one at a time; each photo is cropped to the frame’s shape as you take it.
Choose Storyboard pages when each page holds several frames and you want them found, or Single frames when each picture or PDF page is one frame.
On a Mac, choose Files or Photo Library, or drag pages from Finder straight into the window. The Mac has no Camera option.
A frame was missed, or a wrong one was found. How do I fix it?
Open Adjust. Move or resize a box to fit the frame, use Add Box for a missed frame, or Remove Box for one that shouldn’t be there. Undo steps back one change at a time.
Why are my frames the wrong shape?
Every frame in a project shares one shape. In Adjust, tap Change Ratio and pick one of the eight presets (16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 1.85:1, 5:4, 5:3, 2.35:1, 21:9) or enter a Custom width and height. Frame Flipper then looks over every page again with that shape. If you preferred the boxes as they were, Undo brings them back.
What do I get when I flip?
A folder named after your project and version (for example Night_Drive_v01) holding an editable PowerPoint, a PDF with six frames to each landscape A4 page, and a folder of every frame as its own JPEG, numbered 001, 002, 003 so they sort in order.
Where are my files saved?
Flip Frames opens the usual save picker (on a Mac, the standard folder panel), so you choose the place: on your device, iCloud Drive, or a provider such as Dropbox. When it’s done, Frames Flipped shows where the folder went, and View in Files (View in Finder on a Mac) opens it.
What if a folder with that name is already there?
Frame Flipper asks first. Overwrite replaces the earlier flip, Change Name takes you back to Home to pick another name or version, and Cancel lets you choose a different place. Nothing is replaced unless you tap Overwrite.
How do I clear Recent projects?
On Home, use the ⋯ button on a project to remove it, or Clear all to empty the list. This only clears the list: your original files and the folders you’ve flipped stay where they are.
Does Frame Flipper need the internet?
No. Finding frames, adjusting them and flipping all happen on your device. If you save to a cloud location, that service may need a connection to sync your files.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later, and Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Frame Flipper is free.
